HI, I AM DANIELLE

Mindfully Rising was born from a vision of creating a space where education, mindfulness, and healing come together.

Picture this: the world shut down, and I found myself sitting behind a screen as a senior-level English teacher, staring at my own reflection on Zoom. A sea of black boxes replaced the vibrant classroom energy I once knew. The chat filled daily with students, parents, and even colleagues pouring out their fears, their traumas, their struggles. The weight of it all was inescapable—the collective heartbreak, the cries for justice, the desperate search for balance. My soul felt like it was shattering. But just like the phoenix rises from the ashes, I knew this breaking point was also a call to transform.

I’ve always been a healer—whether in the classroom or in spirit. I’ve built my life around seeing people, meeting them where they are, and guiding them toward their own power. And in that moment, I knew I couldn’t wait. My “someday” retirement plan became a right-now mission. So, I took a deep breath, threw caution (and my business plan) to the wind, hired a website designer, and just like that—Mindfully Rising was born right here in Long Beach, CA.

Fast forward to 2025, and here I am—aligned, intentional, and deeply rooted in my purpose. Mindfully Rising isn’t just a business; it’s my heart in motion, serving the Long Beach community and beyond. Every service, every product is designed with empowerment at its core. This journey has been one of transformation, growth, and rising from the ashes. And so, here I stand—Mindfully Rising in Long Beach, helping others do the same. #sassyandcentered

  • I’m Danielle Jorda, the heart and soul behind Mindfully Rising—a space where movement, meditation, and intentional living come together with a bold yet balanced approach. As a mom, wife, yogi, educator, and 58kg Olympic weightlifter, I don’t just teach mindfulness—I live it. Strength and presence are at the core of everything I do, and I love helping others find their own balance between power and peace.

    Learning and growth are lifelong passions for me. I’m a certified Meditation & Mindfulness Teacher, a 700-hour Certified Yoga Teacher (CYT) specializing in Yin Yoga, and an Art Therapy Practitioner. I’ve also spent over 26 years in education, earning a Master’s in Teacher Leadership and multiple teaching credentials. Teaching—whether in the classroom, on the platform, or in a yoga studio—is my calling.

The Story Behind Mindfully Rising

Like so many of us, I spent years navigating stress, burnout, and the constant pull of responsibilities. As a public school teacher, I saw firsthand how emotional overwhelm and lack of mindfulness affected not only my students but the parents and educators around them. When the COVID-19 pandemic hit, it became even clearer—people needed more than just academic support; they needed space to breathe, heal, and rise above life’s challenges.

Why I Started This Journey
